Kisna Weddings has been renamed to Kish Weddings because Kisna was being pronounced as Krishna. Kish Weddings is more sophisticated and will appeal to today's bride.

New Inventory

We have 2 two mandaps in the works, and some other traditional and contemporary Indian high-back chairs coming in December. We are currently redesigning our website and reinventing ourselves to reflect our personality. I am truly excited about 2011, we have gotten already several brides on board with our Diamond Package, which is a fairytale style wedding without the excessive markups!

Marriott- Tampa Airport

Just came back from the The Marriott Tampa Airport, this is a great location to have a wedding, the hotel is connected to the airport, so you don't have to worry about flight arrivals and where to put guests, and they allow outside catering. Their grand ballroom is an oval shape - very traditional but yet very modern.

We are rolling full steam ahead into 2011.

We are trying to finalize a meeting with Mr. Tutera himself, we will let you know!

After two years of moving to Tampa, we have finally organized our "Dream Decor Team" that that has the knowledge and the capability to produce stunning weddings beyond compare.


These individuals are not only talented, creative and but hard-working to create beautiful weddings at very competitive rates!

I am no longer searching for individuals who want to work with us, not for us. You know who you are.

We've got the "wow" in wedding florals, wedding linens, lighting & mandaps to give brides the very best of the best! I am confident we have the true wedding experts on our side to turn a bride's inspiration into a masterpiece.

We can't wait for 2011 & 2012 it's going to be a stellar year for us. We are truly exhilarated on the current progress we have made in the last two weeks.

Pricing Packages

We have created some new packages which will appeal to all sorts of brides, there were some price competition, but with our low overhead, we are able to provide premium quality, design services without paying thousands of dollars! We are excited to offer this, and will blog about our results in the coming months. We have an onsite event planner who we will have for some of our packages at no additional charge to the bride on a tight budget. Your wedding day should be the most important and happiest day of your life, besides giving birth to your first newborn.

New Mandaps for 2010 & 2011

Over the past two years many brides in Florida have asked for simple mandaps, finally we have come across two mandaps that we will bring here to meet the growing demand of discerning Indian brides.

We have designed two brand new mandaps for this very reason, both mandaps have been custom designed. I am happy to say that we will be the only company in the Southeast to boast these new mandaps. Both mandaps will have a circular top. One will be on the traditional with silver and contemporary elements. The other one will be 100% contemporary with white as the main color. Both mandaps will be suited for the sophisticated bride.

The third mandap will be the Mocha Modern Mandap with clean lines and simple design.

We are excited and can't wait for them to arrive.

Evolution of Mandaps

Today I am starting a blog site regarding mandaps and related decor. The first mandaps to arrive in the United States were the sankheda & metal mandap. Then it slowly evolved to the roman column fiberglass mandap which led to other fiberglass mandaps which we see today. A few years ago, we started seeing wood carving mandaps, but they haven't caught on too well with brides or mandap vendors due to their color and cumbersome weight. Currently, the trend is moving towards simplicity, chic and contemporary designs, as more Indian brides are less in-tune with Indian Culture and heritage. I will comment on this and more later.
